Who should attend?

Academic librarians at institutions with subscriptions to Emerald publications under Eduserv Chest Agreements.

Programme

Emerald would like to hear from you about a variety of things:

• eBooks – how has the market moved on? Are there any emerging models/preferred delivery mechanisms? Who is doing eBooks well? Do librarians make a distinction between eBooks and eBook Series?
• About Emerald’s interface.
• Are there any emerging standards regarding the LMS.
• The notion of “students as customers”. What impact does this have on libraries? How can Emerald help librarians to better serve their customers when it comes to online research activity?
• Emerald’s web vision plans and to gain feedback about the proposed developments.
• Purchasing behaviour in different subject areas, given their move into broader Social Sciences.

There will be an opportunity to ask questions about the current Chest Agreements for the range of Emerald publications.
